Vintage Scarabs from Egypt

Every year in Tucson I trek to the very back of a crystal show that is really off the beaten path in hopes that my "scarab guy" will still be there with a batch of Egyptian scarabs.  He is quite old and I worry that eventually he will not be at the show anymore.  I love talking with him and he loves my love for scarabs.  The invoice is hand written in shaky writing and it takes him SO long to wrap each one that I have to remind myself to be patient and that this is all part of the story of why I go to Tucson.  

-These soap stone carved Egyptian scarabs are from the early 90's (which is considered vintage) and the backs all have hieroglyphic writing on them.  They are beautiful placed on a pile of books or just in a collection of loved items and are said to bring a sense of renewal, rebirth, luck and also protection.  

-Approx 2" high, 4.5" tall and 2.5" wide, each one unique
