Jean Jean Vintage Slow and Steady Necklace
From designer Jean Jean Vintage's 'Cachet' Collection inspired by the Victorian tradition of using wax seals to stamp all of their correspondences. The selection of which seal to use was extremely personal and powerful as it was the first thing the reader would see.
Front: a snail on a branch, with the Italian "sempre in casa" - "always at home."
Back: tortoise and hare racing, with the tortoise in the lead and about to reach the finish line, with the Italian "qui va dritto va lontano" - "he who goes straight, goes far" or more liberally, "slow and steady wins the race."
